John Jackson, Jr.

Tallahassee - John Jackson Jr, 74, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021. He graduated from the Original Lincoln High School in 1966. He was a veteran and served in the Vietnam War.

John is survived by his wife of 23 years, Mary J. Jackson; five children, Rev. Antonio Jackson (Jeanette), Elder Tamara James (Carlton, Sr.), Ola Hill, June Hill and Joe Brown; two sisters, Gail Jackson and Catherine McClary (Melvin); host of grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be 12 (Noon) FRIDAY, December 3, 2021 at the Tallahassee National Cemetery, 5015 Apalachee Pkwy, Tallahassee, FL 32311.

Viewing will be from 12 (Noon) to 5 P.M. Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Strong & Jones funeral home.

What a loving & wonderful & protective brother Jack was to his sisters...I felt like I knew him personally but I didn't....I would often hear his voice calling to check on Sister Kate with encouragement, funny story's and prayers.
