KT it was a pleasure to coach and serve with you over the years within our community. It's still hard to believe that I won't see you again at a game, sports event, or one of the players birthday parties. Your passion for coaching and being a leader in young kids life was second to none! I can still hear you now asking me and other parents what your young athletes will be doing in the off season to prepare for the next regular season. You will be missed! The great but painful thing from this is now your family and love ones will have someone watching over them in heaven! Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers! James, Kenya, and Owen!

Keddrick was a kind and friendly soul. His optimistic personality was infectious and he made all of us laugh. I know how much he loved his son and how proud he is of him. I can't believe Keddrick is gone, but he left a huge mark on the service members and other volunteers at the USO. Heidi

Dear Coach KT, you are a walking, talking example of what every man should aspire to be. You are such a stand up guy, I told my wife one day... "I need to take some pages from KT's playbook on how to be a better person." This was my sons first time playing organized sports and you made not only him, but myself feel as family. I remember talking to you one day about taking him off the team due to his lack of performance and you reassured me he would be ok and let him stay and that you would continue to develop him in the years to come. You don't know how much your constant words of encouragement and optimism has shaped and affected us. In a world today where most people are only focused on themselves, you focused on others! Your positivity was contagious and your heart tenacious. Makai and myself love you and yours as family, as you treated us. We will never forget you coach! YOU ARE TRULY AN ANGEL!!!! The Invictus International Consulting organization that Keddrick was a member of considered him as family, because of the bond that we shared with him. We are truly sorry to hear the news of his passing and wish our condolences and peace at this time to the family. Keddrick was a great example of good father. Our team highly respected how he would leave work as soon as his tasks were completed for the day to be present in his son's life and take care of him. I personally remember the passion in his eyes in conversations with him on how well he spoke of his son, and how he cared so much for children in coaching them in sports. When I first joined Team Invictus, Keddrick took many efforts to ensure I understood the organization and how well it treated employees. Keddrick was the type of person who cared for people that he could reach and make a positive impact in their lives. I truly appreciate meeting this great example of what a man really is supposed to be. As his previous Branch Manager I will continue to share the love he embedded in me through his actions and the warmth of his smile and demeanor. Rejoice in heaven, my brother! Jule Davenport - Invictus

First time I met you Coach KT, I was a nervous dad letting his son play flag football. Me who played the game on the peewee level, high-school level and college level. Was nervous to let his son George IV to play flag. Well you saw something special in my son. You put him at running back you coached him to his first touchdown & his firts playoff game. We lost in the 1st round but thats not what I remember. I was dealing with financial hardships at the time and you didn't know me from "Adam" & you purchased my son some all black Under Armour football cleats. He couldn't fit his baseball cleats anymore inwhich he was playing in during the season. Coach thats who you are always giving, always having a smile on your face, always leading by example, always being you COACH KT. Words can't explain how much you meant to my son & I. Love you brother Rest In Power!
