Obituary For Ninnie Pearl Bankhead Cook

Mrs. Ninnie Pearl Bankhead Cook was born on July 17, 1968 to the late Mr. & Mrs. George and Minnie Bankhead. She was the sixth born.

Pearl departed her earthly life on Friday, November 26, 2021 at the Baptist Medical Center in Kosciusko, Mississippi. One brother Jerry Bankhead, Sr. preceded her in death.

Pearl graduated from Durant High School in 1988. She furthered her education at Holmes Community College. She received her Cosmetology License and CNA License.

Pearl worked at Durant Electric for many years and Durant Nursing Home until her health failed.

Pearl was a devoted mother, sister and friend. She always wore a smile on her face.

Pearl leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Jamarkus and Jamarion Cook both of Durant, MS; two sisters: Bettie (Adrian) Hart of Carriere, MS, and Bobbie Bankhead, Willis (Brenda) Bankhead of Durant, MS and Frankie Bankhead of Stone Mountain, GA; a very special sister-in-law/sister Annie Bankhead; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
