Obituary For Ms. Linda Faye Dumas

Linda Faye Dumas “Doom”, was born June 1, 1966 to the late Julius Sullivan and Georgennie Dumas of Barnesville, Georgia. Linda grew up in the world’s greatest city, Barnesville, Georgia, a town she loved and never left. Educated in the Lamar County School System, Linda Dumas was a member of the class of 1984. She entered the workforce after completing high school working in the food service industry for many years. She spent the majority of her work life as a faithful employee at Pastime Grill of Barnesville, Georgia. Linda’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her gentle smile and loving heart have left a beacon of light for all that knew and loved her. She could spend hours rocking in her favorite chair while cuddling close to those she loved so much, especially her grandkids. She enjoyed listening to music, dancing and spending time with family and friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, two uncles, Charles Dumas and Larry Dumas, two aunts Ms. Elizabeth Dumas and Mrs. Dorothy Fallings. Linda made her transition on November 25, 2021, surrounded by family. She leaves to cherish her memory: two devoted children son, Mr. Jamaha Dumas of Griffin, GA; daughter, Jamira Dumas of Barnesville, GA; three grandchildren Aaron, Aurbery and Akessia; three sisters, Ms. Cassandra Dumas of Barnesville, GA, Ms. Diana Dumas of Thomaston, GA, Ms. Jennifer Dumas -Rogers of Manchester, GA: three brothers, Mr. Kenny Sullivan of Barnesville, GA, Mr. Ronnie Sullivan of Barnesville, GA and Mr. Christopher Dumas of Atlanta, GA, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly.
