A Life Well Lived. . . Nero A. Wilson was a graduate of Highland Senior High School, Class of 1966 in Gastonia, North Carolina. His employment consisted of working at the North Carolina Department of Corrections as a Prison Guard, Gaston County Textile and a Material Team Leader at Danaher Tool Group. A strong love for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in whom he confessed and accepted at an early age allowed him later in life to join the church next door to his house in the Fall of 2008, where he became a member of the St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church. There, he developed a deeper love for the truth of the word of God preached by Pastor Darial A. Jackson, who was his dearest friend. “Dennis” which he liked to be called, had a love for fishing and would take his three oldest sons, Denan, Jimmy, and Ethan, to the Coast during his vacation time.
