Obituary For Ms. Lucine Quiller

Ms Lucine Quiller was born May 10, 1951 to Mrs. Evelyn Quiller Petty and the late Mr. Lucious Quiller in Thomaston, Upson County, GA. She was raised by her step-father, Mr. Earl Petty. She received her education in the Upson County School System and attended Drake High School. Lucine was the mother of five children. To provide for her family, she was employed by Thomaston Mills. She was a faithful and dedicated employee for over thirty years. After the closing of Thomaston Mills, she was employed by Providence Nursing Home in the dietary Department. She retired from Riverside Nursing Home. During her leisure time, Lucine enjoyed cooking, working puzzles, watching television, especially Tyler Perry Shows and TBN; shopping at Piggly Wiggly; and spending time with her grandchildren and other family members. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Lucine was preceded in death by her father, one sister, Brenda Quiller; and one brother, Jeffery Petty. On Monday, November 29, 2021, the Lord called her name. She answered and went home to rest where there is no more sorrow, no crying and no more pain. She will be missed by her family and friends.

Lucine leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Mrs. Evelyn Quiller Petty of Thomaston, GA; five children, Mr. Ferris Quiller, Mr. Randy Quiller, Ms. Kellee Quiller, Ms. Marcella Quiller and Mr. Quintavious Quiller all of Thomaston, GA; four grandchildren also survived; five sisters, Ms. Jo Evelyn Quiller (Kenneth Carter), Ms. Magnolia Quiller, Mrs. Linda Quiller Hammock, Mrs. Sonja Quiller (Ricky) Scott, all of Thomaston, GA and Mrs. Carol (Vincent) McKennon of Jacksonville, FL; one brother, Mr. Ronald (Angela) Petty of Thomaston, GA; one aunt, Ms. Josephine Pennymon of Thomaston, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Graveside Service were held Friday, December 3, 2021 11:00 A.M. Southview Cemetery
