Obituary For Bernice Whitehead Lumpkin

Mrs. Bernice Whitehead Lumpkin of New Bern NC died Tuesday November 30, 2021.

The family will assemble at 12:15 PM Monday at Oscar's Mortuary for the procession.

Her funeral service is 1:00 PM, Monday, December 6, 2021 at Biblical House of God 906 George St. The interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

The service may be viewed on Oscar's Mortuary Facebook Page. Click on live view. Friends will be received at the residence of Scottie & Vernell Johnson 115 McDaniel Lane, New Bern-- 3:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday and Sunday.--3:00 to 5:00 pm

She is survived by her two sons; Stacey Whitehead of Clayton NC and Leonard Whitehead of Charlotte NC; one daughter Tracey Brimmage, FL; four brothers Jessie Whitehead, Charlie Whitehead. New Bern, NC, Troy Lee Whitehead, Charlotte, NC and Samuel Dawson of New Bern, NC; six sisters, Margie Chilsom and Vernell Johnson, Maebell Mewborn, Evelyn Fisher, of New Bern NC and Lucille Brimmer and Ruby Nobles both of Charlotte NC; fifteen grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.
