On November 30, 2021; the Lord welcomed Mrs. Dorothy McMorris Brown into Heaven. She has spent 90 years being loved by her family and they surrounded her as she met Jesus.

Ms. Dorothy was born to the late George and Eula McMorris on March 23, 1931 in Newberry County. She was educated and raised in Laurens County and spent her adult life working for C.W.Hoisery. She was a life long member of Little River Zion Baptist Church,Kinards SC.

She will be dearly missed by her children: James(Tillie) Brown at Mountville,SC; Kenneth (Melody) Brown of Laurens, SC; Peter (Pam) of Maryland; John Brown of Clinton, SC; Cathy (Bobby) Anderson of Mountville, SC; Doris (Billy) Cunningham of Greenville, SC and Denise Brown; 27 grandchildern, 56 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren; her best friend Johnnie V. Brown and other close realtives and friends.

Services will be held: 2:00pm Sunday December 5, 2021 in the Little River Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Kinards, SC
