Obituary For Lewis Doby

Lewis Doby, 79, departed this life Sunday, November 28, 2021.

He was born on November 3, 1942, in Liberty Hill, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Will and Rosetta White Doby. He was married to Ollie Evans Doby.

Mr. Doby was a very active member at St. John Missionary Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Ollie, of Camden, SC; two daughters, Cynthia Brown of Camden, SC and Roslyn Brown of Charlotte, NC; one son, Darain Brown of Charlotte, NC; one sister, Marion D. Wiggins of Charlotte, NC; one brother, Ronald Cooper of Stanford, CT; ten grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be 2: 30 p.m. Saturday, December 4, 2021, at the Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church Association Building, 3045 John G. Richards Road, Camden, SC 29020. Burial will be in the St. John Missionary Baptist Church cemetery. Service will be conducted by Reverend Eddie Moore.

Viewing will be 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Friday, December 3, 2021, at Stewart Funeral Home.

My cousin Ollie Mae and Lewis was always nice and kind to me. I enjoyed the times we had together. Our hearts are broken to have loss such a good and kind person.
