Curt answered the Master’s call on December 1, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.
Curt accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Attalla, AL.
Curt attended Norris High School.
He worked for Supreme Beverage for six years and later went to work at Emma Sansom High School until his retirement.
Curt was a big Alabama fan and loved listening to music. He loved his family dearly.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Ada Lou Graves and stepfather, Leroy Thomas; daughter, Cassaundra Graves; Son, Curtis Graves Jr.; Two sisters, Hester Mary Graves and Lula Beatrice Graves; Three brothers, Thomas C. Graves, William McDaniel and L.T. Thomas.
Curt leaves to cherish a lifetime of memories to: His daughter, Sophia Graves; Sister and Caregiver, Deloris Malone; Brother, John Allen (Kate) Malone; Other sisters and brothers, Deborah Hill, Zeborah Hill, Linda Hill, Brenda Hill, Rhonda Hill West and Michael Hill; Granddaughters, Brianco Smith, De’Zana Graves, Syl’Tayvia Hunt, and Amiya Graves; Grandsons, Sylvanus Hunt Jr., and Zaiden Graves; Great-Grand, Kay’lanii Cox; Sister-in-law, Diane Graves of Clinton, MD, and Lueteshia Thomas of Attalla, AL; Special friend and caregiver, Beverly Moore; Special friends, Gary Aaron, Coach George Baker, James & Robbie Palmore, Avery (Tate) Williams, and Dilip Lama. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Public viewing will be Friday, December 10, 2021 from 12noon-5pm. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Mt. Zion Full Gospel Church at 2:00pm. Eulogist: Apostle Jesse Roberson. Interment: Lincoln Hills Memorial Gardens
