Curtis Lee Wingo was born in Attala County on September 06, 1960 to the late Steven Jim Wingo and Shirley Saffold.

Curtis received his education in Kosciusko School System. He was married to Renita "Jill" Hall on March 27, 1992 who preceeded him in death.

Curtis leaves behind to cherish his memory; two daughters, Angelia Herron of Kosciusko, MS and Kierra Guyton of Tupelo, MS; four sons, Curtis Jr. (Tymier) of Knoxville, TN, Tywon Kern, Quilton Hall (Kim), and NaQuan Fletcher all of Kosciusko, MS; one sister, Johnnie Mae Hubbert of Ridgeland, MS; one brother-in-law, Harris "Bobo" Hubbert of Ethel, MS; ten grandchildren, Cinnamon, Jatavious, Jakobe, Madison, Ziya, T'Kiyron, Dayveion, A'Rainah, Nylon, and Aaliyah; a special friend, Lusherra "Shell" Johnson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
