Christine McCarty, 78 of Sunset, TX was led by the hands of Jesus to her eternal Heavenly home in the early hours of Thursday, December 2nd, 2021.

Graveside services will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 7th, at the Sunset Cemetery in Sunset, with Rev. Phillip Weitner officiating.

Christine was born April 19, 1943, in Pennington Gap, Virginia.

She is preceded in death and surely greeted by her mother, Ruby Robinson, cherished husband, Don McCarty and infant great-grandson Douglas Anthony Veretto, whom she longed to hold for so long. She had several sisters and brothers, and most who will greet her at Heavens gates.

Christine leaves behind her son, Andy Paul Miller and wife Gale; daughter, Jeana Miller Rodriguez and husband Johnny; 3 grandsons, Andrew Logan Miller, Anthony Don Veretto and his wife Monica and Jordan Daniel Veretto, whom cared for her in her home for years; several great-grandchildren; and had several sisters and brothers, whom will miss her dearly, but rejoice her release from the illnesses and troubles of this earth and its pain.

Today we Honor her Strengths, courage, values and Love. Whether you called her Mom, Sister, Memaw or Friend, we wish her farewell and we will all see you again. someday soon.
