Obituary For Robert Stover

Mr. Robert Stover,89, departed this life on Saturday, December 4, 2021. He was born on November 16, 1932, to the late Rebecca Pinky Stover and Belton Champion in Liberty Hill, South Carolina. He was married to the late Bertha L. McIlwain Stover.

Robert was educated in the Stoneboro School System.

Robert was a member of Cedar Rock Missionary Baptist Church.

Robert retired from Springs Industries after forty-five years of service.

Robert was a member of the Sons of Liberty Lodge #148.

Left to cherish his memories are one son, Edward Stover (Natalie) of Camden, SC; three daughters, Berthina Stover of the home, Gloria Rollins and Sandra Stover of Lancaster, SC; one sister, Lula Mae Brown of Liberty Hill, SC; one brother- in- law, Freddie L. McIlwain (Carolyn) of Lexington, SC; sixteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; two god daughters, Patricia Mingo, and Grace Brevard; three god grandson’s, Terrell Mingo (Bridgette), Marcus Mingo (Adia) and Troy Mingo.

Funeral Service will be 2: 00 p.m. Saturday, December 11, 2021, at the Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Association (FEW) Center, 3045 John G. Richards Road, Camden, SC 29020. Burial will be in the Cedar Rock Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Funeral Service will be conducted by Reverend Jerusha Gaither.

Viewing will be 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Friday, December 10, 2021, at Stewart Funeral Home.
