Mr. Gary Keith Parker

Passed 11/29/2021

On July 1, 1965, Gary Keith Parker was born as the fifth child and the third son to the late Mr. Melvin Parker, Sr. and the late Mrs. Evelyn Dewberry Parker in Barnesville, Lamar County, GA. At an early age, Gary joined the West Mount Sinai Baptist Church, under the leadership of the late Rev. Saint John Clark. He was educated in the Lamar County School System and graduated from the Lamar County Comprehensive High School. Later in his adult life, he moved to Atlanta, GA. Gary loved to sing, and he had a passion for being well dressed. He believed and had faith in God. When he called home to talk with his family, he always expressed his love by saying, “I love you, and I pray every night; and I pray for my family too.” Gary was preceded in death by his parents and a devoted and beloved sister, Mrs. Mattie Parker Ogletree. On Monday, November 29, 2021, the Lord decided that Gary’s journey on this side had come to an end. His name was called, he answered, and his spirit took flight to his eternal resting place.
