Carolyn Jeanette Wilson, affectionately known as “Sugar Bear” was born October 6, 1956. She was a native of Rockingham County, North Carolina and attended Rockingham County Schools. She departed this life on December 09, 2021, at her home.
Carolyn worked at Spray Cotton Mills for many years as a spinner until the factory closed. She worked at Burger King and Hardee’s in Eden NC for a short period, as well as a nursing home caregiver. Carolyn was an active member of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed serving the Lord and regularly attended church services and Sunday school. She was a member of the Morning Star Baptist Church Usher board and the Group 2 Missionary Circle.
Her parents, Deacon Lorenzo Wilson, Sr. and Mrs. Marion Moyer Wilson, her sisters Tamar Wilson Preston (Len) Marilyn Wilson Hylton (Dennis) and Brother Minister Albert “Cookie” Wilson, Jr. (Daphne), preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her sister Emily Wilson Dillard (Dave), a long- life friend Carl Rucker, and a host of nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
