Lillie Mae Bradley Morris was born December 31, 1936 to the late Mr. Andrew Bradley and Mrs. Lily Bradley in Carpenter, Mississippi. She departed life on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at CHI St. Vincent Hospital. Lillie Mae had a life-long relationship with God. She loved God’s presence in her life. She received Christ at an early age under her parent’s guidance at Little Zion Holiness Church. Her life was guided by Psalms 121:1-2 “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord which made heaven and earth.” Later, she moved to New Orleans and fellowshipped with New Salem Church of Christ (Holiness) USA and Vineyard Church of Christ (Holiness) USA. Upon moving to Little Rock, Arkansas, she join Christ Temple Cathedral. Lillie Mae married the love of her life, Clifton Morris, in 1958. Together they raised six beautiful children in the fear and admiration of the Lord. Being involved in church was required and part of everyday life. She served in the choir, as an usher, church treasurer, kitchen committee member, and Deaconess. Her life was guided by kindness and service to others. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brothers, and sisters (Ada Mae, Essie Mae, Oda Mae, Castella, John, Bennie, Percy, Andrew, Robert, and Willie), daughters in law Monique and Davia, son in law MacArthur, and special children Stephanie and Gary. She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her sister, Francis Wilson of Detroit, Michigan; her devoted children: Doris Sparkman of Atlanta, GA; Frande Morris (Ernestine) of Little Rock, AR; Albert Morris (April) of New Orleans; Arrie Morris of Little Rock, AR; Mario Morris (Nirika) and Nathaniel Morris (Rasheda) both of Fayetteville, AR; nine grandchildren: LaTasha Sparkman Roberts, NaKeith Sparkman, Ebony Morris, Marco Morris, Marquis Morris, Rashad Morris, Lailah Morris, Nathaniel Morris II, and Xavier Morris; two great-grandchildren: Trevon and NaKia Sparkman; special children: Roxanne Edward (Louis), Sarah Young, Melanie Jackson (Clarence), Carlos Young (Wanda); two sisters in law Ora Lee and Erma Lee, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
