Clayton Eugene Joshua Thompson

08/14/1996 - 11/30/2021

On August 14, 1996, the late Clayton E. Thompson and Joy Thompson welcomed a bouncing baby boy by the name of Clayton Eugene Joshua Thompson affectionally known as “Josh”.

Josh attended St. Lucie County Public Schools graduating in 2015. Josh enjoyed being close to his children, family and friends. Through his love for basketball, he used the opportunity to mentor to the youth around him. Josh had a creative and spiritual mind. Some of his hobbies included going to the gym, spitting rhymes with his friends, poetry and making others laugh. Josh had a vibrant spirit. He will always be remembered by his unique laugh. Neighbors would often say “Your boy is visiting?” because of his infectious laugh. When he was not visiting the neighbors would ask where he was.

Josh knew the importance of God, his children, family and friends. He was taught the way of the Lord from an early age in the home and church. His favorite scripture and prayer was Psalms 23. He would pray this prayer over his children while comforting them when they weren’t feeling well. Joshua is truly loved by many especially his mother, children, siblings, family and friends!
