Obituary For Polly Baxter

Polly Anna Blakeney Baxter, 53, died Sunday, December 19, 2021. She was born on April 24, 1968, in Monroe, North Carolina. She was the daughter of the late James and Pearlie Threatt Blakeney.

Polly was a 1987 graduate of Buford High School. Polly retired from Harris Teeter Distribution.

Polly leaves to cherish her memories two sons, William Blakeney of Lancaster, SC and Jonathan Hubbard (Jerry) of Hartsville, SC; one daughter, Stephanie Blakeney of the home; one Goddaughter, Jasmine Louallen of Lancaster, SC; two brothers , Alvin Blakeney (Betsy) of Lancaster, SC and Danny Clyburn (Mureil) of Monroe, NC; three sisters, Jane Louallen of Lancaster, SC, Sharon Funderburk- Chambers (Ricky) of Killeen, Texas and Linda Nivens of Monroe, NC; three grandsons, Jeremiah, Jace and Jerrick Sowell of the home; two Godbrothers; Wilbert Nivens (Sheryl) of Wingate NC and Curt Nivens (Judy) of Indian Trail, NC and many aunts and uncles.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Stewart Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be conducted Rev. Dr. Waldo Robinson.

The family will receive friends from noon until 1:00p.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Stewart Funeral Home.
