Obituary For Frankey Joe Tatum

Home going celebration for Mr. Frankey Joe Tatum of Lineville, 55, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Terry's Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be 1-7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at the funeral home.

Mr. Frankey Joe Tatum began his journey through life on April 28, 1966 in Ashland, Alabama to the union of Henry Carter and Josephine Tatum Traylor.

Mr. Tatum dedicated his life to Christ and was a member of The Rock Jesus Church. Frankey was a graduate of Lineville High School. Professionally, he dedicated nearly 30 years of service to True-Wood. Frankey loved to work on cars, fixing things, constructing various items and spending time with his family.

On Wednesday, December 22, 2021, Frankey answered the Master’s call at the University of Alabama Birmingham Hospital. He was preceded in passing by his father, Henry Carter; and two siblings, Kenny Carter and Joanne Tatum.

Frankey’s memory shall remain in the heart of his loving wife of 25 years, Julie D. Tatum of Lineville, Alabama; his mother, Josephine Traylor of Lineville, Alabama; one daughter, Trina Renee Tatum of Montgomery, Alabama; one granddaughter, London Weatherington of Montgomery, Alabama; six sisters, Terlisa Phillips and Marie (Jonathon) Ackles of Lineville, Alabama, Willie Mae Phillips of Heflin, Alabama, Faye Carter of Lineville, Alabama, Charlotte Wilson and Shelia (Kenneth) Thomas of Millerville, Alabama; four brothers, Shawn Cedric (Tameka) Phillips of Lineville, Alabama, Jeffery McClain of Anniston, Alabama, Howard (Vanessa) Williamson and George Ray (Marie) Tatum of Lineville, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
