Delois B. Moore, 85, of Stoneville, NC passed December 22, 2021. A public viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Perry- Spencer Funeral Home, Madison, NC. The family will receive friends at 11:30 a.m. with funeral services beginning at 12 noon Friday, December 31,2021 at the Mary D. Perry Memorial Chapel, Madison, NC. Burial will be held at Meadow Christian Church Cemetery in Martinsville, VA.

DeLois Burnett Moore answered the call to the Lord, December 22, 2021, at Brian Center, Eden, NC. She was born in Martinsville, VA to the late John Burnett, Jr. and Lelia Spencer Burnett.

She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member at Greater Bibleway Holiness Church, Eden, NC. She received her education and was a graduate of G. W. Carver High School, Class of 1953. She was retired from Burlington Industries of 25 years.

She was also preceded by her husband, Willie “Pete” Moore, Jr., brothers, Glen and Calbert Burnett and sister, Imogene Preston.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory: sons; Anthony Moore (Teresa), David and Jerome Moore, daughter; LaVern Smith (Eddie), grandchildren, sisters and brother-in-law; Mahalie and Janet Burnett, Gale Preston, Addie Jones, Mildred Hairston, Virginia Spencer, Beatrice Rogers and Doris Scales. Along with special friends, Judy Shelton and Brenda Crisp to cherish her memory.
