I am so sorry to hear about your passing. I remember you as a little girl. Always smiling. You did something years ago that really meant to me and my grandson. He saw you some wherein a store and you came up to him and said I know you and you called him Scooter and he said yes mame . You said I am your Aunt Davisha your daddy's sister. And you gave him a hug. See Gods angel he was having a hard time that week in school about not having a daddy. God sent you and I thank you. It meant a lot. You were a smart , beautiful young lady. Your presence here will be missed.May God forever rest your soul. Thank you for loving Scooter. Our prayers to your family

Our Sweet Devisha, Your work here is done and your reward awaits you. I will always cherish our friendship. I will remember your gifts of light and encouragement and how no matter how heavy their circumstance or situation, a person could not be in your presence and leave without knowing there was still hope. I will remember your laughter and your joy and how you could make a song cry. I will remember how you loved your friends and family and honored your mother and father and mine too! Most of all I will remember how blessed I am to have had a true friend who could love me at my best and at my worst, not because of who I am but because that's who you are. Rest easy my beautiful friend....Until we meet again. To the Family, May the Love of God Surround You and Carry You Through...Prayers, Condolences, and Deepest Sympathy Timberly & The Davis Family

Devisha was very special to me. I couldn't decide what was more inviting: her welcoming smile, her vibrant personality or the big voice she used to sing to The Lord we both love so much. I will miss her. I loved her. God loved her best.

Ms. Boddie, I am so saddened hearing of Devisha's sudden passing. I pray God continues to hold you near while bringing to remembrance some of the most precious and cherished moments shared between you and Devisha as mother and daughter and best friends. Thank you SO much for sharing her with us. Her beauty, her gift of song and laughter and her obvious love for her fellow brothers and sisters in Christ shall never be forgotten. I know with ought a doubt at the moment, her absence from your earthly presence leaves such an unbearable void this side of heaven, but I pray the promise of seeing her again brings such joy and peace that surpasses all understanding. No matter what we face in THIS life, our faith in God dispels all fear and conquers the evil we face leaving us content in whatever trials or misery life brings. The word of God tells us, as Christians, we are not to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that we do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. According to the LORD's word, we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the LORD, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the LORD himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the LORD in the air. And so, we will be with the LORD forever. Therefore, we are to encourage one another with these words. I pray you are surrounded by those who love you and care for you, and I pray for that peace that is promised during these times abound in you. Love you. Trixie Pollard-Morgan & Family.

A beautiful soul gone from her many loved ones far too soon. Now she gracefully takes her place within the realm of the pearly gates of heaven. Ms Sandra my love and prayers are with you. It was always such a joy seeing the two of you out together. There was a mother daughter bond that was so heartwarming. I can't even begin to know what you are going through. Mother's should never have to bury their children. But, Ms Sandra rest well knowing that she is in God's loving hands; and he will take care of you. Jan Smith (and Ronnie) Harbin Cardiology
