Obituary for Ms. Bernice E. Rolle On June 15, 1935 Ruby Alma and Willie Lee Lovett was blessed with a beautiful bouncy baby girl whom they named Emily Bernice Lovett; she was the third eldest of six children. Bernice, affectionately known as Bea, received her formal education in The Georgia public school systems. Bea began working at the early and tender age of 15 and started traveling along with her family to South Florida. In 1953 Bea relocated to Belle Glade, Florida where she became employed with Wedgewood Farms, Inc. she worked with Wedgewood for a number years before moving her employment to Talisman Sugar Mill; where she remained employed for over 20 years before retiring when the company went out of business in 1999. Bea met and married the late Mr. Sidney Henry Rolle in the mid 1950’s and to this union four children were born: Gary B. Rolle, Sr. (deceased), Deborah Taylor, Benjamin Rolle, Sr. and Alma J. Rolle (Deceased). After Bea and Sidney separated yet remained close friends, Bea met the late Mr. Nathan Osborne whom was pivotal in assisting her raising the grandchildren. Bea enjoyed cooking, working and joking with her family and friends. She was a woman among women and was affectionally called, “Wonder Woman” because of the many stories she would tell to her grands and great-grands. Bea attended the Mt. Zion AME Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Faison. On December 25, 2021 at approximately 2:40PM our Wonder Woman’s journey here on earth came to an end. Her hard-working hands are now put at rest. She transitioned from labor to reward, go on to meet her loved ones in the sky that left before. She leaves her fondest memories to her two remaining children: Deborah Taylor (Desmond) and Benjamin Rolle, Sr. She reared four grandchildren as her own, Kecia Campbell (Michael), Gilbert Grantlin, Jr (Turia), Elijah Pompey (Tanile) and Gary Rolle, Jr. She also leaves a treasure of memories to Erica Rolle, Benjamin Rolle, Jr., Rogena Rolle, Kevious Rolle, Jamileya Rolle, Yiandria Boswell, Emezeon Simmons, Tion Conaway, Dion Conaway, Andre Jones, Cornelius Evans and Jada Josinvil.
