Time: 11:00 am until time of service

BURIAL: Hilldale Cemetery, Duncan Hill Road. Danville, KY

Eugenia Belle Carpenter, 86, passed on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at Danville Centre for Health and Rehabilitation in Danville, Kentucky.

She was the daughter of Wallace and Sarah Meaux born August 24, 1935 in Danville, Kentucky Eugenia is preceded in death by her husband, James Carpenter, two sons James and William Carpenter, a granddaughter Monica Pennington, her siblings Dorothy Trumbo, Jimmy Meaux, Charles Meaux, Wallace Meaux, Lee Meaux and Richard Meaux.

She was a member of First Baptist Church Danville where she attended faithfully until her health would not permit her to do so. She still remained faithful in her belief in her Lord and Savior.

Eugenia is survived by five children, Brenda (Lyndsey) Pennington, Patricia Carpenter, Bonita (Kenneth) Patton, Janice (David) Edwards and Teresa (Jason) Burdette; 6 grandchildren; Tommy coulter, Jermaine Wilkinson, Tanya Garr, Tommy Carpenter, David Harris, James Harris and Destiny Harris; one brother, Sam Meaux; two sisters, Dora Davis and Sarah Meaux; 13 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She will be greatly missed!! She was a wonderful lady, I enjoyed seeing her everyday when I worked at the nursing home, her laugh made my day, and she could enter a room.
