Ms. 'Bec' will truly be missed. She imparted so much to the Missionaries of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, North Carolina and foreign Missionaries as well. To know her was to love and respect her. Her spirit made you want to walk with confidence, speak with conviction and aspire your dreams with courage. Her support was unwavering and her stance steady. A little bit of her will continue to survive as long as each of us do what she taught us to do. Prayers for the family. God Bless.

Rebecca was a integral part of my youth. While growing up in church, she was the youth choir director and leader of our youth RAP sessions on Sunday afternoons. She had so much love and wisdom to pass on to us knuckle heads, much of which I will always remember. Those hymns are still ingrained in my mind today. She was a blessing to us all and lived a life worthy of her heavenly home....Francine Robinson

Dearest "Beck" as we affectionately called Rebecca while growing up in Belmont was in so many ways a strong pillar within our community. She taught us in Sunday School, exposed us to a wide range of musical experiences through her expertise as a pianist and was always ready with her quick wit and even quicker laughter. We respected her as a gifted teacher, loyal confidant, and loving mentor. We share our fond memories and love to her extended family as they grieve her loss. We will all miss her warm, beautiful spirit. Melissa, Katie, Barbara and Fran (R D Hand family).

Mrs. Rebecca will truly be missed from her beautiful smile to her quick wit to her knowledge of helping the missionaries in the Gaston County Missionary Union spread the good news. Rest on my friend and mentor.
