My prayers are with the Patterson family during this difficult time. Ms. Patterson was my grandmother during my time at Washington, in our Head Start classroom. She was a very sweet, quite person and was always willing to help in any way she could. I remember I got in trouble with my supervisor, because she accused us of not opening up and offering the art easel as a choice, but we used it everyday and it was a mess. Ms. Patterson cleaned it so well every day that it did look like it hadn't been used. I shared that with her and we laughed. Thank you for sharing her with us and she will always be remembered.
