We knew little that morning that God was going to call your name, In life we loved you dearly; in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.

Mr. Shon Davis, age 53, of Roanoke Rapids, NC formerly of Baltimore, MD departed this life on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 in Washington, DC.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 18,2022 at 12:00PM at Spring Green Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor Sylvester Hammond will deliver the Eulogy. Burial will follow in Spring Green Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Viewing will be held from 11:00AM-12:00PM at Spring Green Missionary Baptist Chruch.

Shon leaves to cherish his memory his mother Carolyn Maniche; his grandmother Ethel Davis; his wife Britteny Engles; his sisters Devorra Davis, Nannette Davis, and Shantel Middleton (Terry), his daughter Shequeta Freeman; grandchildren Aaliyah Bryant and Julian Bryant; niece Keyona Akil (Jhalil); nephew Darius Kearney; great-niece Korie Kearney; cousins Rishard Davis, Rishard Davis, Jr. and Titan Davis; his godmother Agnes Smith, special maternal aunt Barbara Bryant, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
