Obituary For Mary Louise Williams

Mary Louise Williams, 68 of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. Born Monday, January 26, 1953, in Osceola, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late John Brittmon Robinson and the late Mildred Brown Britmon Robinson. She was employed by Fed Ex. Surviving are sons, Paul Doss, Jr., Roy E Brittmon (Tamara), Willie M Earl, Jr. (Brenda) and Percy Lee Earl, daughters, LaTanya A Curry (Ramon), Janice Williams and Edna M Earl (Horris), brother, Elzie Broadnax, sisters, Linda Gail Moore, Glenda Faye Johnson and Mary Alice Parnell; 17 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Friday, January 21, 2022, at R S Lewis & Sons Funeral Home, 2944 Walnut Grove, Memphis, Tennessee. Funeral service will be at 12:00 PM on Saturday January 22, 2022at R S Lewis & Sons Funeral Home located at 2944 Walnut Grove Memphis, Tennessee 38111. Interment will be in New Park Cemetery, Memphis, TN.

I'm am so sorry that this unthinkable day has happened but it was Gods plan 😔 you are such a hard worker who never quit(workaholic). We love you mom like no other. We were so close. My Grandmother was a Free Spirit. Heavy on the FREE. But that's what made her so fun to be around. She had a big heart and took care of any and everybody. She was a mom to many who already had moms. She had many grandkids that loved her and alot of children who will always miss her. Nothing about her was simple because she was more than one character . But the character that she played in my life was one that always had smiles for me.

From the first time I met Mary Earl, she has treated me like one of the family. She was as loving, generous, and strict with me as she was with Kitty. I remember going over her house for food in between classes at Lemoyne-Owen College and getting my hair done at the shop. She always had time. I thought she was the jazziest and sweetest mom.
