Debra Denise Miller-Geter, daughter of the late Evangelist Sarah Miller and Odell Young was born January 14, 1965 in the Davis Station Community of Clarendon County.

She received her formal education at Scott’s Branch High School, graduating with the Class of 1984 and Pathway Medical Training. She was a member of Fourth Crossroad Baptist Church, Manning, South Carolina.

She worked at Colonial Family Practice as a medical assistant until her health declined. She was called to rest January 6, 2022 at Mcleod Hospice Home in Florence surrounded by her children.

Debra leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters, Lashenda (Elder Tony) Junious of Summerton, SC and KaDeidre of the home; two sons, Khalil (NahDaysha) and Kalentae, both of Sumter, SC; two brothers, Diral D. Miller and Diral U. Miller, both of Charleston, SC; one sister, Gwendolyn “Cookie” (Jeffery) Pendergrass of Sumter, SC; eight grandchildren, KeyLondria, Jahayla, KaZiya, Arianna, Kalentae Jr, Kensley, Kaidyn and Khalil Jr.; a special cousin whom she called her little sister, Sharolyn Griffin of Atlanta GA; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Graveside services were held 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 12, 2022 at Hopkins Cemetery, Davis Station, SC.

Due to COVID-19 guidelines, the family did not receive visitors.
