Obituary For Glenda Jo King

MS. GLENDA JO KING - Age 62, of Knoxville, TN passed away Friday, January 7, 2022. Born in Knoxville, TN on January 14, 1959, she was the daughter of John King and Louisa Andrews Foxx. She was a proud graduate of Rule High School and the University of Tennessee. She was a faithful member of First Calvary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her loving and devoted son, Clarence (Nikki) King; committed companion, Albert Allison; granddaughter, Brooklyn King; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside Service will be held Friday, January 14, 2022 at 1:00 P. M. at Berry Highland South Memorial Park, 9010 E. Simpson Rd, Knoxville, Tennessee 37920 with Minster Marie Wade, Eulogist. A viewing for friends will be held at 11:00 A. M. and a viewing for family at 12:00 P. M. at Unity Mortuary, 1425 McCalla Ave, Knoxville, Tennessee 37915. Masks and social distancing are required. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, GA.

I worked with Glenda at Bechtel Jacob's for several years. She was a kind spoken Christian lady. She messaged me a couple of months ago to pray for her. She was still sick. We often talked about Jesus. She will be missed. Prayers go out to her family. Shelia Strunk Coppock
