Obituary For Venice Ladon Russ

Venice LaDon Russ, 49, of Kosciusko, MS passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022. She is survived by her two children Ariyan and Corey Love and grandson, Aiden Love, who made up the entirety of her world. Baby sister of Doris Rivers, Vivian Ghoston, Shirley Russ, Sharon Russ Hendrix, and LaQuanda Whitfield. Caring aunt of, William Rivers, Rita Rivers, Zavien Rivers, Richy Ghoston, JR., Tangelia Whitefield, Latia Whitfield, Zerick Rivers, Brianna Russ, and Tyiesha Johnson.

Preceded in death by her daughter, Jasmine Nicole Russ, her parents, Lenora Russ and Willie Beamon, her grandparents, Will and Lillie B. Gregory.

Venice was born in Milwaukee, WI on June 16, 1972. Venice was a 1990 graduate of Kosciusko High School. After high school, Venice attended the University of Mississippi Medical Center and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Venice was enthusiastic about life. Conversations about her "Aiden-man" was her favorite past time. Venice was truly a wonderful person, she was selfless, generous and tender-hearted, treating everyone she met with kindness and warmth. She will be missed by all.

Venice was a "Jewel of a nurse" we was really a super hero for the weekend nurses with Sta-Home . She worked remotely behind the scenes to take calls from staff and patients.
