Obituary For Sonya LaTrice Brown

Ms. Sonya LaTrice Brown, affectionately known as BOO, received her heavenly wings on January 8, 2022. She was born on January 16, 1973, to Linda Brown and Timothy(Norma) Nelson Sr. of Moss Point, Mississippi.

She was the proud mother of two sons whom she loved dearly, Corbin DeShawn Crockett and Charles Ray Crockett Jr. both of Moss Point, MS.

Her memories will forever live within her siblings, devoted sisters Khayla (Roderick) Hannah, Erica Nelson, and Ashunda (Octavius) Stewart and brothers Carlos Brown, Timothy Nelson Jr., Tyrone Shannon, and Anthony Shannon, and her loving companion Michael Carter, and devoted friends Tikila Jones, Erica Poindeter-Leflore, Felecia Hyde, Billy Peairs, Carola Carter, Sharon Sanders, and Barbara Triplett

The public viewing will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022, at Robinson's Friendly Funeral Home Chapel, 4301 Main Street, Moss Point, MS, from 4 pm to 6 pm.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2021, at 11:00 am. in the Robinson's Friendly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Samuel Nelson officiating.

A graveside service follows at the Scranton Cemetery, 3400 Brooks Street, Pascagoula, MS.

We will always remember your kindness, your strength, your courage, your silly side always laughing and smiling keeping the good vibes flowing around you, your selflessness as you were always willing to help someone in need in any way that you could, I already miss you and your random call's at 3:00 am or the many funny videos you shared with me so often it felt like you knew just when I needed a laugh or for my mind to be freed of the worries I may have been facing at the time you'd send them.... Word's could never truly express how much you meant to not just myself but to so many people and their lives this has truly been a very hard loss for many but especially for your boy's and the rest of your family, Michael and your loved one's the prayers will never stop going up asking God to keep his hands on those two boy's, your family, Michael and all of your loved one's God will see each person who's hurting, struggling or suffering through this I'm so sorry for everyone who has felt this pain especially for the Brown family, Boo's extended family, all her friend's and anyone who has felt her loss may God be with us all during our time of need We Love You TeTe Boo We Miss You Already Rest Easy Beautiful also I'm sorry it took this long before I had the strength to write this Love Always, Jess
