Mrs. Elaine Watkins, daughter of the late William Watkins and Rosetta Medley Watkins was born in Anson County, North Carolina on September 13, 1943. She went to be with her Lord on January 6, 2022.

She attended the public schools of Anson County. She worked as a Machinist for many years at Wiscasset Mills, Albemarle, North Carolina. After retirement, she returned to work at Cookson Fibers and served as a Security Guard until she retired a second time.

Elaine attended Rocky Mount AME Zion Church, Ansonville, North Carolina.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nine (9) siblings.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three sons whom she loved dearly, Alfred L. Johnson of Ansonville, North Carolina, Rodney F. Johnson of Monroe, North Carolina and Quentilian Johnson of Charlotte, North Carolina; nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; her four-legged son, Monie; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral services were private.
