I learned some of life's greatest lessons through Grandpa's actions and words of wisdom. Grandpa taught me about the beauty of diversity. Grandpa taught me to value family above all and that family isn't always the people you're related to by blood. He taught me about redemption and second chances. He taught me about Elvis Presley and Marvin Gaye. In more recent years, Grandpa taught me to appreciate the small, simple joys of life and told me not to sweat the small stuff.I'll miss our chats and watching his interactions with the boys. His presence will forever be missed in our family gatherings but his energy will continue to be felt by all. You will be greatly missed Grandpa Stan.

When my mother met Stan 40 years ago, my life became much larger, richer, and more diverse. He had a wonderful quality of bringing everyone into the fold, children and animals included. I'll never forget his dimples, blue eyes, and zest for life. He was always so eager to share what he loved with all. We didn't have a traditional father/daughter relationship, but we counted on each other, and was my protector, my dad. I will miss him dearly.

I will never forget the love and words of wisdom you gave to me. Always wanting to have a BBQ getting us all together. Giving me extra Monopoly money. Convincing me to move to Oceanside. Always accepting me for me. Love you forever and I'll miss you Daddy. I am so grateful you are my Dad. May you RIH

Haven't seen my uncle in quite some time but thought about him alot. When I was stationed at camp Pendleton he let me use his 65 thunderbird to go to TJ Mexico. Had alot of good times with him.

When we were kids daddy would spent time with us. He made sure we had every board game and starting on Friday evening the games was on around the table we would gather for fun. He shared our chores and always encouraged us to be better. I am going to miss him. Your daughter Freda. Thank you for making me your daughter.
