Frederick “Fred” Hardy was born on November 13, 1950, in Spartanburg, South Carolina to Juanita Hardy-Pullen and James Davis.

Fred passed peacefully on January 2, 2022, at the age of 71. He was preceded in death by his Daughters Susaen Long, and Lorie Anne Long, Brother, Melvin “pee wee” Hardy, Son, Caprice Hardy, Grandmother, Mamie Hardy, Granddaughter Quanezia Jefferies, and Father, James Davis. He is survived by his wife, Virgilia Jones, Mother Juanita Hardy-Pullen, Sons, Frederick Jones Jr, Tequell Jones, Kyle Jones, and Timothy McFadden, Daughters, Tamiko Hardy Nicole McFadden, and Tironda Newton- Jones, Brothers, Keith Pullen, Leon Pullen, Billy Rice, and Donnell Hardy. Fred worked many years before his retirement from the Park Plaza Hotel in New Haven CT.

Fred will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a hardworking, charismatic, funny, distinguished, and loving Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Friend and Family man!

Funeral Services will be held at Trinity Temple Church of God in Christ, 235 Dixwell Avenue, New Haven, CT on January 18, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at Beaverdale Memorial Park in New Haven,CT 06515.
