Funeral Services for James Darnell Collier, Sr will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 11:00am at Springfield Christian Church Disciples of Christ, 25 West 9th Street. Visitation of friends at the mortuary on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 5:00pm-8:00pm. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery.

This man was the greatest father! Going on with life without him does not seem fair. I know he wouldn't want this life for me and I know if he had the choice he would have stayed as long as he could! But I know he was tired and mistreated and for sure missed my beloved mother more than anything. A love nobody could understand. A love that only the two knew would work. This is beyond saying goodbye daddy because I do not know how to let go nor move forward. The past is a haunting because the present is hell and my future is dangerous. I needed you two and God saw fit he needed you both more I guess....it kinda makes me questions my existence on why he allowed me to be born in this world, knowing the outcome of all things. But who am I to question God...right?!
