Mattie Virginia Hinton, 85, of N. Chesterfield, died January 12, 2022. She was preceded in death by two children, Dedtra Hinton and Scottie Hinton. Surviving are her husband, McKinley L. Hinton; a daughter, Ruby O. Hinton; three sons, Joey (Marilyn), Robbie and Terrance (Robin) Hinton. bonus daughter, Darlene Artis; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marian Mayes and Shirley Mayes; nieces, nephews, cousins; two godsons, Gregory Gardner and Brandon Derricott; devoted friends, Cynthia Dabney, Monica Archer, John Edmonds and Treda Edmonds; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be Friday, January 21 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 22 at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Rev.
