William Louis Lambert passed peacefully on the afternoon of January 10, 2022. He was surrounded and supported by his loving family. William Lambert was born in Richmond, Virginia on January 25, 1954, to Willie Lee Marks and Rosalee Williams.

In 2015, he and his wife relocated to Gastonia, North Carolina, where he spent the rest of his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents Willie Lee Marks and Rosalee Williams, and three brothers, Alexander Marks, Clarence Marks, and Willie "Bonnie" Marks.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-two years, Lena Lambert, seven children, Charnetta Lee (Daryl), Anais Scott-Wyche (Jay), Dominique Lunsford (Willie), Demetrius Wilson-Page, Danielle Wilson, Darlene Fure, and Dequana Wilson, twenty-three grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren, siblings: Larry Lambert, Jeannette Williams, Arnette Williams and Ricky Williams and niece, Monica Williams-Bridgeforth, all of whom he loved and adored.
