Obituary For Evangelist Pearlie Mae Zanders Bodden

Pearlie Mae Zanders Bodden was born December 4, 1940 in Tift, GA to the late Mattie McClendon and Charlie Faison. Such a joy and delight to her family, she was. She matriculated through the halls of the public schools ultimately attending Lincoln Park Academy. In her adult life, she acquired a job with the Saint Lucie County School Board of which she held until she retired in 2007 at the age of 66.

Evangelist Bolden was a true saint and witness for the Lord. She loved talking about the goodness of the Lord and praying for others. Letting her light shine was one of her greatest attributes.

On January 4, 2022, the Almighty God summoned the soul of His faithful servant and bid her to come and receive her eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mattie McClendon; son, Dwayne Zanders; brothers, Daniel “Bud” McClendon and Charlie Faison, Jr.; sisters, Carrie Lee White, Orange Hunter Givens, Inez McClendon, and Queenie Williams.

Public visitation for Evangelist Pearlie Mae Bodden will take place on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 3:00pm-7:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. Funeral services will convene on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Neighborhood Bibleway Revival Center in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 11:00am. Burial will immediately follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Although many venues have opened and the restrictions of COVID-19 have been relaxed, we at Stone Brothers Funeral Homes are still enforcing the guidelines set forth by the CDC and FDOH to protect our families and our staff.
