Jeffrey S. Brooks affectionately known to family and friends as "Pap" was called home to be with the Lord on January 7,2022, to his eternal destiny with his heavenly father. His family and friends have been truly blessed with so many loving memories of his life.
Jeffrey was born on December 24, 1967, in Clearwater, Florida to the late Mack Charles Brooks, Sr., and Elouise Brooks. Jeffrey attended local schools in Pinellas County and graduated from Clearwater High School. He had the pleasure to work for the City of Clearwater and Nature's Food Patch and after ten years of service he retired. Pap was a football fanatic; his favorite NFL team was the San Francisco 49ers, and his college team was Florida State Seminoles. He was also a collector of exquisite hats, caps and watches. He was sharp dresser. He was jokester in the family. What he enjoyed most was making people laugh.
Jeffrey was blessed to meet the love of his life Victoria Townsend. For thirteen years they were devoted to each like peanut butter and jelly. As their relationship blossomed, he affectionately called her "Cup" short for ....cupcakes. Their LOVE for each other had no measure. They were each other's best friends! The two of them would always end their night saying " Ï love you Cup and Babe".
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents and oldest son Darryl Brooks. Jeffrey is survived and loved by his children and family: Jeffrey, Jr. Brooks (Yvette), Jamichel Brooks and Sierra Miller. His siblings: Mack C. Brooks, Jr.,(Valerie), Eric Brooks, Sr.,(Cynthia), Kimmie Brooks, Susan Brooks (John) and Candace Brooks, all of Clearwater. Two beautiful grandaughters: Cassidy and Amirah. A host of nephews, nieces who loved him dearly and his best friend and brother Tarrance Rhone (Tasha) of Dallas, GA.
