Obituary For Allen Gene Pennington

Allen Gene Pennington, 76 of Raleigh, NC passed on January 13, 2022 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC.

Visitation: 4:00 - 6:00 pm Friday, January 28, 2022 at Trice Funeral Home Chapel, 127 N. West Street in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.

Funeral will be held 12:00 pm Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Macedonia Apostolic Church, 9805 Fanny Brown Road in Raleigh, NC.

Burial: Starlight Memorial Gardens in Holly Springs, NC.

Mask are required in order to attend the visitation or the funeral service.

Due to Covid, the family will not be receiving visitors at the home. Please respect this request. They thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

I just found out about Gene. We worked together during the fair. He was always faithful, hard working and funny! Cutting up all the time. Always talking about his Grandbabies that he loved so much. I looked forward to hearing the honk of that front end loader as he was creating the livestock show ring. Nobody could do it as well as him. Continued prayers for the family.

Gene was my go to for driving the Fork Lift to move vendors in and out of their spaces during special events at the N. C. State Fair. Gene will be truly missed. Letrice Midgett
