Obituary For Tara Sabrina Gamble
Tara Sabrina Gamble, of Henrico, on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 3:17 P.M., God called His angel home to rest. “Tara” as she was affectionately known to so many was born March 17, 1982, to Edward and Gladys Gamble in Richmond. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Earl. J and Pattie Lee Gamble and Henry and Anna Jackson. Tara was baptized at Broad Rock Baptist Church by the late Joseph A Godfrey on January 26, 1992. She was educated at St Patrick’s Catholic School k thru 5th grade and on to John Rolfe Middle School, Henrico. In 2001, she graduated from Varina High School Henrico. After completion of high school Tara showed great interest in pursuing a career in Health Professions. Tara went on to obtain her license as a Medication Aide in Henrico. Tara was employed by Ginter Hall South Assisted Living Facility in Richmond. She loved her family and friends and would enjoy listening to music and reading. Left to cherish her memories are her son, Tyren L. Hopkins; parents, Gladys L. and Edward Gamble; brother, Lamont Gamble; sister, Nina Moody (Aaron); nephews, Aidyn and Asher Moody; niece, Jasmine Gamble; a host of devoted aunts, uncles and cousins. We are all grateful for each day we had with her and can find peace in the knowledge that she is with our Heavenly Father. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. where viewing will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. Monday, January 24, 2022. Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Tuesday, January 25 at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. I did not know Tara well, but I did know she was a caring, thoughtful and giving young lady. Tara took in and cared for my young granddaughter who lost her own mother two years ago. Tara was like a second mother to her and I am so grateful for the time she spent with my granddaughter. I send my deepest condolences to Tara's family and friends and may God bless you.
