“Freddie” attended Lowndes High School. He had a passion for basketball, music and travelling. He would often drive to the beach in Jacksonville FL and Panama City Beach Fla with his family. He had various nicknames from his family members. His paternal grandma would call him “Stankapot”, his great aunt Val called him “Cookie man” his cousins Fred 3, and his aunt Jenny called him “LiL Boy. He was not a farmer but was proud of the Bell Peppers he grew a few months ago.
On January 5, 2022, God called Frederick Gillard III home to rest. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Frederick Gillard Sr. and Ruthie L. Gillard, a sister Tiffany Natasha Gillard; a maternal Uncle the late Lynn Mayes and his beautiful dog, Diamond.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving parents, Frederick Gillard Jr., Cassandra Gillard; two daughters, Jayla Michelle Gillard and Khloe Gillard, one son Carter Gillard, maternal grandparents Clarence and Christine Mayes; two aunts Jennifer S. Gillard, Brenda Fondel (Donald), three uncles, Larry Mayes ( Juanita), Kent Mayes, Brian Mayes. Host of Cousins, special cousin Regina Morrison (as a sister) and lifelong friends. Special friends Brandie Long and Alayshia Knight.
Home going service will be held on Saturday, January 22, at 11:00 A. M. at Thomas Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Salary, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the Pallbearer Cemetery. Public viewing will be held on Friday, January 21 from 1:00 P. M. til 7:00 P. M. The Mortuary that Cares.
