Archie R. Wright was born on August 6, 1956 in New York City. Archie was the youngest son of James and Roberta Wright.

Archie was born and raised on the lower east side of Manhattan where he played stickball and was known to be the best at ping pong. Archie’s determination led him to succeed by graduating with two associates and a bachelor’s in human services. He then used that obtained knowledge to be a counselor at BRC where he worked with mental health patients. When Archie moved to North Carolina in 2008 he started delivering for Dominoes, while also picking up extra shifts at Sears to support his family. Archie enjoyed and loved life. He had a humble heart and always would go out his way to lend a helping hand. He always wanted the best for his family and friends.

Let’s celebrate his homecoming and his cherished memories/moments. Archie leaves his wife: Barbara Wright; his sons: Cosmin Wright, Kaseem Wright, Jihad Wright, Faris Wright and Orion Wright; his sisters: Joyce Wright, Donna Wright and Rosemary Barnett; brothers-in-law: Reginald Swinson and Lucius; his nieces and nephews: Tracy Wright, Indian Jones, Donni Wright, Mariasha Williams, Damir Maxwell, Mia Williams, Shareef and wife Jackie Valentine, Shareef Valentine (son), Shanazz Valentine; his granddaughters: Brooklyn Harris and Aubree Wright and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service on Saturday; January 22, 2022 at the funeral home at 3:00 p.m. with visitation thirty minutes before the service.
