Anthony was educated in Guilford County Schools, where he also was very active in extracurricular activities which included running track, playing football and wrestling for Mendehall Middle School and Page High School. Anthony was spiritually reared and received his biblical teaching at Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Holiness Church with his late mother and late sister. His belief and love for God never departed. He continued his spiritual journey throughout his adulthood. He and his family frequently visited Jehovah’s Outreach Ministry.
Anthony had a sensible, sincere, dependable and supportive disposition and was the epitome of a family man. He was a devoted leader and father figure to his entire family. He would go the extra mile and then some more to help anyone. He showed love and celebrated everyone in his family. He enjoyed planning and attending family events. You could always count on him being present and representing his favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. He had a large collection of items which included shirts, hats and jackets. He was an enthusiastic Bruce Lee fan and appreciated watching Kung Fu shows. He will be best remembered as the clever jokester who loved to make people smile; a master chef who specialized in many dishes; and the fisherman who everyone wanted at their fish fry.
