Obituary For Russell Tyrone Richey
Mr. Russell Tyrone Richey, age 57, earned his wings January 20, 2022 at Prisma Health of Laurens.
Russell will be missed by a devoted wife of over 30 years Karen, his mother Rosa Lee Richey Copleand, his daughters : Samantha Bates, Raven Richey and Alyssa Richey and grand daughter Hayven; His brothers: Kenny Richey, Dennis Richey, Barry Richey, Daryl Richey and one sister Sharyl Richey.
The services for Mr. Russell Tyrone Richey was held on January 26,2022 in the Child’s Funeral Home Chapel. His final resting place is in Orchard Park Memorial Gardens.

I served with Russell in the 870th Trans Company. Russell was always up beat and positive. He could moon walk as good as MJ himself. He will always be a brother. My deepest condolences to the Richey family. Rest well brother.

Russell!Oh My! Countless memories of our days as students at Clinton High School come to mind. Russell was "EVERYTHING"!A brother,a friend,a confident(I still have all the letters we passed to each other from Ms.Adair's class)and my cousin. Russell was the guy we all wanted to sit beside on "test-day" so we could copy off of his paper! Yes,Russell was that dude!Effortless intelligence.He could have easily done worked for NASA, but what Russell wanted was a family of his own and I'm so grateful he experienced that.I so enjoyed seeing him whenever I would visit. His smile made me smile.His laugh made me laugh.You're an ancestor now Russell!I pray we meet on those celestial shores one day.

We only have loving and joyful memories of Russell. From being the one to count on to be in the stands of your football games shouting over the crowd and laughing at every hit you landed, to him jovially dancing and singing with the children without a care in the world, Russell was a good man. And he was a blessing to everyone around him. His main language was laughter! We will always hear that chuckle in remembrance of him. We thank the Lord for sharing him with us.
