Mary Alice Simmons was born on October 4, 1954 to the union of Luther and Georgia Mae Simmons in Unadilla, GA. Mary received her formal education at Unadilla High School and was also a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed dancing and having a good time. Mary Simmons departed this life on January 24, 2022. She was preceded in death by her daughter Tekeya Simmons and her sisters Georgia Lee Sanders, Mattie Mae Simmons, and Lela M. Simmons Powell. She leaves to cherish her memories a loving sister, Ms. Margaret Dunwood from Warner Robins, GA; a loving brother, Mr. John Simmons from Warner Robins, GA; four loving nieces, Arkeisha Simmons from Unadilla, GA, Sheila (James) Asley, Elisa Dunwood, and Dondra Kimbrough from Warner Robins, GA; three loving nephews, Keyshawn Johnson from Unadilla, GA; Carlron (Catherine) Calhoun from Tampa, FL, and John Simons, Jr. of Warner Robins, GA. She had three devoted friends Annie Kate Fudge, Rosa Taylor, and Augustus Wynn; And a loving goddaughter Alexius
