MR. MARK ANTHONY UNDERWOOD, SR. – Age 68, of Summerville, Georgia passed away Friday, January 28, 2022. He was born on October 21, 1953. He was preceded by his father, Edward Underwood, sister, Gail Underwood, brothers, James, Todd, Jerrod, and Ramon Underwood. He was a member of the World Church Of The Living God, and a graduate of Chattooga High School, and retired from the United States Navy.

Survivors are his loving and devoted wife, Ida Mae Underwood; Mark (Bittany) Underwood, Jr.; daughters, Marla Underwood, Emiko Underwood; grandchild, Khi Boatang; mother, Emily Jewell Adams Underwood of Summerville, Georgia; sisters, Sandra (Ronald) Jackson, Shirley Powell, Cynthia Underwood, Jody (Mike) Simmons, Yolanda Cooper, Kat Batts, all from Saginaw, Michigan, Bertha Adams; brothers, Kenneth (Angie)Underwood, and Steve Adams of Summerville; aunts, Vicki Blackwell, Jeanette Adams, great aunt, Velma Morton; uncle, Jackie Hoskins; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Service will be Sunday, February 6, 2022 at 2:00 P. M. at North Summerville Baptist Church, 119 Maplewood Drive, Summerville, GA 30747 with Pastor Mose Whitfield as Eulogist.
