Patricia Ann Jordan

Mrs. Patricia Jordan, 70, of Hurtsboro, AL passed Friday, January 28, 2022 in Opelika, AL.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. EST (1:00 p.m. CST), Sunday, February 6, 2022 at First Missionary Baptist Church, Hurtsboro, AL. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 3-5 p.m. EST (2-4 p.m. CST).

Mrs. Jordan know as "Trish" was born July 26,1951 in Hurtsboro, AL to Annie Mae Jordan and the late Cassie B. Jordan. She confessed Christ at an early age and joined First Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Owens where she served has a faithful choir member and usher.

Patricia later moved to East Chicago, IN where she joined Friendship Missionary Baptist Church; there she sang in the mass choir, senior choir and served as a male chorus and youth choir booster. She later relocated back to her home town of Hurtsboro in 2016, rejoined First Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership Pastor Clark there she rejoined the choir and worked in the kitchen committee.

Patricia will be remembered as a faithful, loving and God fearing woman with a voice that touched many souls, she loved her family unconditionally, she would welcome anyone to her table to eat her delicious cooking.

Ms. Jordan is preceded in death by her father, Cassie B. Jordan; two brothers, James A.Jordan and Walter B. Jordan; one niece, Ariel A.Smith; two special friends, Ellis Erving and Clifton J.Henry.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories a devoted and loving mother, Annie Mae Jordan; two devoted daughters, LaQuetta (Roy) Harris of Montgomery, AL and A'Kendra Erving of Smiths Station, AL; five wonderful grandchildren, Kasey Erving, Kash Erving, Katlyn Erving, Kelis Erving and King Erving all of Smiths Station, AL; one fur grandchild, Boss Jordan; two sisters, Bettie Jordan and Jacqueline Jordan both of Hurtsboro, AL; seven brothers, Moses (Ruby) Jordan and Clarence Jordan both of Merrillville, IN, Claude (Earnestine) Jordan of Gary, IN, William (Arlene) Jordan, Alonzo Jordan both of Hurtsboro, AL, Ernest (Gloria) Jordan of Birmingham, AL and Robert Jordan of Hurtsboro, AL; 24 nieces and nephews; 23 great nieces and nephews; three great-great nieces and nephews; one loving aunt, (her riding partner), Sarah Williams; two uncles, Henry (Charlene) Key of Gary, IN and Rufus (Lillie) Jordan of Hurtsboro, AL; two sisters in love, Shari Jordan and Q.C. Williams; best friends, Cheryl Langford and Deloris Tatum and a host of other relatives and friends that loved and will miss her dearly.
