In the early morning hours of Saturday, January 29, 2022, in the Beaufort Memorial Hospital, Maria Wright, slipped away to rest with the Lord. Ms. Wright, 58, daughter of the late Bishop Richard Wright, Sr. and Bessie Mae Mulligan Wright, was a resident of the Barkersville Community of Yemassee. She was a graduate of the Wade Hampton High School, Class of 1983. Maria was a loving mother, grandmother, adorable sister, and wonderful friend. Her memories will forever be cherished by her two sons, Nicholas O. Joyner and Jeremy A. Joyner, 7 grandchildren, sister and two brothers, and large extended family and community. The hours of visitation will be on Friday, February 4, 2022 5-7 pm in the Chapel of Young Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 11:00 am in the Springhill Cemetery, Hacklous Road, Barkersville, SC.

ALL SERVICES WILL BE CONDUCTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH CDC GUIDELINES.FOR COVID-19..SOCIAL DISTANCING, AND FACIAL COVERINGS.
