Mr. Ivy Anderson age 80 of Stanley, North Carolina transitioned on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House, Huntersville, North Carolina.

He was born in Lincoln County, North Carolina on April 20, 1941 to the late Nathan Eli Anderson and Nannie Morrison Anderson. He was married to the late Agnes Johnson Anderson.

He attended public school in Lincoln County, was a former member of Center Baptist Church and retired from Burlington Industries.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. at Gold Hill Missionary Baptist Church with burial to follow in Gold Hill/Rock Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. There will be a public walkthrough on Friday from 4:30 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Survivors are two sons, Charles L. Johnson (Beverly, Michael Anderson all of Charlotte, North Carolina; one daughter, Bertha Moore of Charlotte, NC.
